SCERT Punjab, Chandigarh has invited online applications from Eligible candidate for appearing in Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET) 2011; candidates can apply for PSTET online through its official website.
Those candidates who have done any of the teacher education courses which are recognized by the NCTE or the RCI specified in the NCTE Notification dated 23rd August 2010.
Candidates who belong to General/ OBC category have to pay rupees 500/-per paper, SC/ST candidates have to pay rupees 300/-per paper and Ex-Servicemen Self only need not to pay fee. The candidate who intend to appear for both 1st & 2nd Papers, the fee will be rupees 1000 for Gen/OBC & rupees 600 for SC/ST candidates.
Candidate can apply online for Punjab TET 2011 from 27th April, 2011. Last date of online application is 13th May, 2011. Exam of PSTET will be held on 12th June, 2011. The timing of examination of Paper 1st is 10 AM to 11:30 AM on Sunday and for 2nd paper exam timing is 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM.
